The Government has confirmed ‘Plan B’ restrictions will come to an end on Wednesday 26 January. This will mean that face coverings will no longer be mandatory in a number of settings, including shops and public transport.
However, infection prevention and control is still an absolute priority in NHS premises. Therefore, hospitals, GP surgeries, clinics and other clinical settings across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent will still be requiring people to wear face coverings.
